My poor, poor, poor, iPhone

The saga of my iPhone...

Four days ago, in the middle of using my iPhone it went.........zzzzzzzzurrrpppptttthhhh!  Now, while I'm not sure what that means in technical terms....what it means in reality is that it died....five days ago to be exact!  ACK!  When I went to the Apple Store they said, "Oh yeah, you have a problem."  Then I said, well my battery has been acting funny too and they said, "Let's test it....(wait 30 seconds)...my goodness you've completely CONSUMED your battery!  There's nothing left to it."  Just as I was about to say "what does that mean," they said, "this means you get a new phone!"  And then came the bad part, "we have to order it since it's a replacement, and with the new launch of our iPad2 this week, it could take awhile."  Bubble bursted!

I have been so lost without it...not just because I don't have my Smurfs game, Angry Birds, or instant access to email and facebook...but most because I lost ALL MY FRIEND'S PHONE NUMBERS & EMAIL!

Fortunately for me, I have mobile me, so when my new phone comes, it will all be set up with everything that I had.  But in the meantime...I can't call my friend (why...I don't know their number because I rely on my cell phone)....I can't update my facebook or check on how my friends and family are doing.  AND the most important, because I'm at my parents and they have dial up and my MacBook does NOT have a modem...I CAN'T GET MY EMAIL WITHOUT MY PHONE!  ACK!

So, as I patiently wait for my AppleCare (and am thankful I spent the extra $100 for it) I should have a BRAND NEW PHONE no later than Thursday of this week.
