It's now been 6 weeks since my husband and I joined together on the biggest adventure of our lives: having the right upper lobe of my lung removed. Today, not only am I feeling stronger and a little better every day, God continues to move me ONE STEP CLOSER to going home for good!
As I sifted through pictures the other day of all we had endured (I had my hubby take pictures the ENTIRE way through the hospitalization) I found this picture that wanted to make me cry. Here we are, in the middle of a very difficult day in the hospital (day 4, Feb. 14, yep, Valentine's Day to be exact). But this pictures shows the bond of our love, our wedding rings, over my "lung pillow" which was used to help me cough, hiccup, and heal (which I still have to use daily now).
To me, this picture represents our second chance!
THANK YOU LORD JESUS for all you do in our lives!
