Currently, I'm sitting at my workbench with a nice hot cup of coffee and I'm thinking about my business model for 2011. What do I want my store & my studio to look like? How do I plan to market our studio/store? What kind of image do I want to create? And how to I plan to "get it all done." So I've come up with some growth-points, goals, ideas (whatever you want to call them) for 2011.
THIS YEAR I WILL:
- Keep better sales logs & expenditures so I'm not "cramming" before tax time.
- Rename my store, facebook, twitter, & blog!
- Get fresh and new ideas -- ie: be more creative!
- Make it to Etsy's Front Page.
- Curate 1 treasury a week.
- Reach 100 followers on my blog.
- Reach 200 followers on FaceBook.
- Sell 100 items from my Etsy store (current standing: 24).
- List 3 items a day in my store for better exposure.
- List EARLIER than the coming holiday (ie: list Christmas at end of September instead of December).
- List a MINIMUM of one NEW item a day (not counting renewed items).
- New blog posts 5-6 days a week (varied posts: personal, studio, promoting others, new item blogs, tutorials, etc).
- Write and post 1 tutorial (with text and pictures) a month for my blog.
- Do a minium of 6 shows this year (I did 5 last year).
- Do one BIG sale a month (currently I have little sales every week).
- Be able to offer MORE free shipping on my items.

Wow! That's alot of great goals! Hope you will also add a shop link list in your blog for Promotional Frenzy. Those reciprocal links are important for driving traffic to your shop and the others and ultimately bringing in more sales.
