In the Studio with Katie: MEET HERSHEY

The Original Parker

REMEMBER PARKER?

Parker is an original character creation.  He was created in September of 2010...though he didn't take form until January 2011.  To date we have over 35 different Parker's created and listed in our store.  We made the announcement on March 1st that Parker had a little sister....it's now time to meet her!

Introducing HERSHEY!

Hershey is Parker's younger sister and she is ready to steal your heart and bring a smile to your face.  HERSHEY comes straight to you from the heart of Pennsylvania.  She was named after the famous chocolate chip, and town of Hershey, PA.  Her original name was Punsxey...but we decided that this name would be too hard to spell pronounce and made her lose her character.  Punsxey was choosen after the groundhog that appears every Feb. 2nd in Punsxetawney, Pennsylvania.  Her original concept color was brown, just like Punsxetawney Phil.  However, after making this adorable beauty, we decided that brown was just too dark for this precious little girl...and the name just didn't fit something of her cuteness.  Tomorrow, we will reveal the true color of our Original Hershey as we post her in our store for the first time.  While Parker maintains the shape of a Hershey Kiss, Hershey looks similar but has pigtails to set her apart and bring a child-like and gentler appearance than her brother Parker.  Every Hershey has unique features, including her trademark pigtails, bow, and stunning eyelashes.  But, just like Parker, Hershey will be created in many different colors, and transform herself into many different characters.  We hope that Hershey will bring as much joy and as many smiles to your face as her brother, Parker.
