Yesterday was a GREAT day! In the morning my Mom and I went through 2 huge Rubbermaid boxes that my husband lovingly carried from our home to my parents (as we're staying with them for the next 4 weeks while I heal from my surgery). My Mom and I emptied the boxes and she generously cleaned out 1/4 of her own craft room to give me space for my own little craft corner. WOW!
But not only that! What started as a day of emptying the boxes and placing things, she decided "Kater, do you even know what colors of clay you do and don't have?" I shamelessly had to tell her that I had no idea. So...that's when it began. For the next hour my Mom and I sorted Sculpey III, Super Sculpey, Fimo Soft, Fimo Effect, Fimo Classic, Premo, Studio Sculpey, and Cernit.....they're all sorted by color, number, style, etc. WOW! What a job!
But then the best part...I got to sit and create today for over 5 hours in my little chair in my make-shift studio. I'm so happy to be doing something that I love and being back to "semi-normal." WOW! What a great day.

That's fantastic Katie!! Sounds like you had a wonderful day with your mom, and enjoyed getting back to creating in your make-shift studio! Your time spent sculpting and creating will help in your healing!! Enjoy! Looking forward to seeing your new creations.

What a difference a day makes ~ I am so happy you are feeling better. Having a space to create and enjoy one of the things you love to do is wonderful. Happy claying Katie.
Glad you had time to do what's natural - create.
Wish you a speedy recovery.

Thank you for the encouragement!! I'm so very restricted in what I am allowed to do, it feels really good to have a little corner where I can create & relax!!!!
