Yesterday, was my hubby's birthday. He gets his birthday off every year, so this year we took time to sleep in (what a blessing), go out to lunch, shop at Lowe's for some home improvement items, went to see a movie, and joined with my Mom & Dad for an awesome celebratory dinner!
This was by-far the most active day that I have had since my surgery...but it was a wonderful day. So to our wonderful day that was spent together yesterday, may I say the following:
"Thank you Lord for the blessing of live and love that you have given to both Luke & I. We praise you and give you the Victory for recovery following surgery. We pray that you will continue to watch over us, guide us, lead us, and direct us."

Thanks to each of you for all your comments! The recovery from the surgery continues to be a LONG process...but we are making it there, slowly & surely.
The day off with my hubby was wonderful and relaxing. In fact, I could use another one of those!!!!
