Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have no featured seller today. Our featured seller for today is going through a very difficult time and could not join us today...therefore today's feature is our Monster Series.
I'm a fan of Halloween, but not all the scary stuff. I remember the fun days of Halloween when we dressed up as CareBears, Pumpkins, and even a leaf a year of two. But now as the trick-or-treaters get ready to hit our doorstep, I am reminded that not all of the costumes will be fairy-princesses, mermaids, but rather goblins and vampires.
I created this whimsical "monster" series in order to displace some of the creepiness of the season and check back into "older times" when Halloween was simple and fun. None of my monsters are particularly scary...they're just weird! Some have one eye, some have many eyes, some don't have eyes!
Our first release monster was "Orskil." He was the original in the series and everyone in this series is related to Orskil in some way. He has a wife (yet to be released), brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Orskil is a family type of monster and all family is important to him...so he wants to introduce each of us to them.
We have planned two series of Monsters as this time. Each series has 14 different monsters. We are trying to release one monster a day (except Sunday) and their interviews will appear on our blog the day after they are listed.
We are excited about the release of our next eight monsters, all with different names and a different personality. Each monster is handcrafted and sculpted from polymer clay. There have been patterns used, just our own imagination.
