Parker is an original character creation. He was created in September of 2010...though he didn't take form until January 2011.

Parker is created with the heart of Pennsylvania in mind. Yes, that's right. Parker is from Pennsylvania. Before I got married, I was an Ohio girl. I lived in Ohio, supported Ohio teams, and was a true Ohioan. Then in October of 2009, I got married and moved into Pennsylvania. This is where Parker's story begins.
Parker came to being as a desire to want to get to know the new state that I was living. I had been to a great place in Pennsylvania, Hershey and visited Hershey Park. The Hershey chocolate chip is where Parker gets his basic shape. But let's be honest, who living in Pennsylvania doesn't love the Steelers? Very few people. So for The Original Parker, his color scheme matches the Pittsburgh Steelers Gold (Yellow) and Black. But there's more...I live less than 1/2 mile from Pymatuning State Park, a place that I often go to see the wildlife, take walks, or venture out to the boat docks...thus Parker was named after all things Pennsylvania! Hershey, Steelers, and parks!
We have sketched many versions of Parker that will periodically be released. Holiday Parkers, Seasonal Parkers, Themed Parkers, and even other colors of Parker! Parker is the only creation that we have made from conception to design. We hope that in our future there will be many other "Parkers."

Thanks all - I'm glad you all like Parker. By the time he's done there will be about 100 different Parkers.
He is so cute and I love the story... you need to do a Palamalou Parker! ...and a Big BenParker....sorry Im a PA girl too....got carried away there!
