Meet Kelly J Sorenson - Graphic Artist and Designer

Several days ago, we welcomed you to our NEW store look.  We officially opened our Etsy Store in August of 2010...since then we tinkered and toyed with creating our own look.  In 2011, one of our major goals was our rebranding.  Since the online jewelry business is so highly competitive (with over 90% of all Etsy stores carrying beaded jewelry), we decided that our Etsy store would carry ONLY our Polymer Clay Creations.  In order to accomplish our rebranding, the first order of business was to rename our store...so CELLestial BeadWorks became Kater's Acres.

Through our time on Etsy we have participated in a variety of teams and gotten to know many WONDERFUL people.  One of which is Kelly Sorenson.  Our first purchase from Kelly was a prefabbed store logo set for Valentine's Day...at $8.00 it came with a banner, avatar, thank you, & reserved pictures.  This was a fantastic deal!!

It was from then that our head started reeling...what if Kelly could help me rebrand myself?  That's when the idea began.  I contacted Kelly immediately and gave her my "thoughts" on what I wanted my store banner and overall look to be.  Of course since Parker is our newest and hottest selling item, we wanted to incorporate Parker in some way.  With her awesome Talent and ability, Kelly took The Original Parker and made him into a graphic design image...totally cute in every way!

By the next morning I had a response from Kelly and she was ready to go and on board with the idea.  I was so excited!!!  We worked together for several weeks to create, tweak, and design my "dream idea"   for my rebranding.  I had a few parameters: it had to be whimsical (since most of my creations are whimsical in nature), it had to incorporate the feeling of a countryside (the "Acres" part of Kater's Acres), and it had to incorporate our store's color schemes of all different greens.

When Kelly was done, I was so thrilled and so excited.  Her CUSTOM design for me was beyond all belief.  I was so stunned at her awesome work, how fast she put everything together...and the best part....she's going to REDO my banners and logo's for me seasonally!

But beyond that what's even more exciting was the AWESOME price that she charges.  She put HOURS into my designs and helping to rebrand myself.  Here's a list of what I received from her:

When I researched custom graphic designs on Etsy, you can expect to pay upwards of $100 dollars or more for all of the above.  But NOT with Kelly!!  Even with all her work and countless hours, all the above cost me LESS than $50 and I had all the graphics in my email in less than 3 hours after paying!


I can't say enough about Kelly.  She worked so hard for me and kept convo-ing me with updates and approvals for graphics.  She's been a graphic designer for 17 years...which means she's experienced and she knows what she's doing!
