MEET CLOUD NINE DESIGNZ

We have been working with Mandee on the PromoFrenzy Team and today it is our joy to welcome her to our blog today.

Tell our readers a little bit about yourself.

"My name is Mandee and I am 31. I work very part time at  a Banquet hall for weddings. I help with sales and setting up for events. I also work the events there as well. It is very part time work, so I spend a lot of time working on my jewelry. I just made Cloud Nine Designz an LLC, so I am working very hard on building my business. I love making jewelry and it is something I can do while I watch any and all police/crime shows on tv (NCIS, CSI, the Mentalist). I also like watching shows like Two Broke Girls.  I love to do charity work. I help out at the Ronald McDonald House in Cincinnati, OH. I am also a huge supporter of the charity: To Write Love On Her Arms. I love to write and was a journalism major in college."

What's the history of your store?

"My store I feel is unique. I am not a fan of people only trying to sell things to make money. I love all the pieces I make and wear them as well. I am funny at times.  I can make a whole piece and not like the end result and start all over again. This is my third year selling on etsy. I started making cards actually. I had bought a lot of supplies off ebay and it had jewelry supplies in it. I taught myself how to make jewelry. I love when I learn how to make new items."

What makes your store UNIQUE from all the other stores that sell a product similar to yours?

"My store is different than most places is because I put my heart into each piece. I want someone to buy something they fall in love with. I like unique pieces that no one else has so that you can stand out and show your personality to the world. I am now incorporating sterling silver and gemstones, but I want my buyers to come back, so I sell at the lowest prices I can. There is no reason for someone to buy something at an ridiculousness expensive price to just have something they want."  Our store is about quality and your budget.

Tell our readers about your favorite items that you make and list in your store.

"I love my intricate pieces that I only make one of and nothing else similar. I want that one person to buy that be able to be different from everyone else. I am not a fan of the cookie cutter world, where we all have to dress and act the same. For example, I love this Three Stranded Flower Necklace.  I have nothing else like it in my shop. I get so excited when something different like this sells, over say a simple everyday pearl necklace."

What is the item you are the most proud of in your store?

"This Silver Bird and Falling Crystal freedom Necklace is my new favorite piece. I love how it is a simple bird charm and I added crystal and a "freedom" charm to give it a little more edge. When I first listed this piece, I sold it the same day. I was so happy. I made and listed another one. I have one as well and it is one of my favorite pieces to wear."

What kinds of services do you offer for custom orders, what are your policies regarding custom orders?

"I love making custom orders. I have made a few different bridal orders this year. Right now I am working on a headband for a wedding, which is a new learning process for me. I want a bride and her party to feel special on their day. I will keep redoing a item, until my customer is satisfied with the result. All of my items come gift wrapped. That means wrapping is paper with ribbon and embellishments."
