A Daisy Day: That's Life
Well...once again, my Mom asked that I sit down and write on her blog. She wanted me to tell you all about my day. Well...as you know, I'm getting to be an older dog. I'll be 11 this year. So, here are some pictures of a "normal" day in my world. I like to lay down as I am usually tired. Lately I've been even more tired. I've been traveling back and forth to Grandma's house. I love going to Grandma's house. I get lots of cookies there and my cousin Tillie lives there too. So we have a lot of fun together. I love my Grandma, but she tires me out because she's so busy. So when I come home, I just rest.
This is Mom & Dad's newest adoption, Smokie. I try to be like a Mom to Smokie. We love each other, but sometimes she just makes me really mad! She does this "scoot" on the floor. She's halfway across the room and the next thing I know, she's got my tail and she never stood up. But, I try not to complain too much. Smokie's had it rough lately. She had surgery to get herself fixed (just like I did so long ago)...and she had her front claws removed. She limped and gimped around for weeks. She went to the vet yesterday to get her stitches out. She has a small sore spot on her right front paw, so the vet tried to help her. But Smokie came home very sore. Mom called her "tripod" all day yesterday because she wouldn't walk on it. But I helped her and stayed close to her because I could just tell she didn't feel good. Here's a picture of us yesterday. Mom had this blanket all folded and I helped Smokie pull it down and we messed it all up and then got comfy on it together.

I'm now back at Grandma's and helping her do LOTS of stuff. But the only thing I really want to do...is this....but my cousin Tillie barks all day and because of her I don't get any rest. Daddy will be working hard today but I can't wait until he gets home. When he comes home, this is what happens:
