Trade Friendly

What does it mean to be "trade friendly."  Being a trade friendly store means that you are willing to TRADE your item for someone else's item.  How do you go about doing this?  You can join one of several trade friendly teams on Etsy...or you can post that you are trade friendly on your shop announcement, as well as your blog, Facebook, and other prominent places.

In order for a "fair trade" to take place, you first work out with the other Etsy seller who are trading with which item(s) are included as part of the trade.  Some Etsy sellers have exclusions, for example our Limited Edition Figurines are NOT tradable.  Then you edit your listing that you are trading for to account for the shipping fees of the item.  When you check out, click "other" for method of payment.  Then, when you have received your item, both you and the person you traded with leave feedback for each other!  Some traders like the cost of shipping fees actually paid, as the items are costly to send.

We are a trade friendly store.  Feel free to contact us with any trade offers you have for us, we gladly consider all offers, but we trade only for things we need.  Good luck trading, enjoy!

Katie, great explanation.

I'll be back to take a look in your shop - do you need any jewelry?

Trading can be so fun!
I don't advertise that I'm trade friendly, but if I get a request, I'm always happy to trade :)
