Have you ever looked around and wondered "why?" Have you ever thought that you had nothing and someone else had it all. I recently had someone tell ME that...much to my surprise. They told me that I had everything they had ever wanted, and they didn't have any of it. I immediately felt sad for that person. I knew them pretty well and knew that their life was beautiful just as it was. What was she lacking; a boyfriend/husband.
Every day Luke & I stop and take time to count our blessings. Yes, to this day, Luke is one of my biggest blessings. I am thankful for him and for the life that we have built and made for ourselves. The Bible very strictly reminds us not to covet what other people have, but to take into account what God has given us. It asks us not to count other people's blessings, but to take a look at our own.
There are a lot of things that Luke & I don't have, some that we pray for...but we are truly thankful and blessed for what the Good Lord has given us. This Sunday, I encourage you also to count your blessings, each and every one and realize what God HAS blessed you with!
