Why is this Parker frowning?

Boo-Boo Parker

I have received several inquiries into why this Parker is frowning!  At first I found these questions interesting.  Several people commented that Parker just isn't near as cute with a frown, while I agree, I made Parker for a specific reason.

If we take a minute to remember why I designed Parker, it was to have a "basic" character that I could turn into pretty much anything he wanted to be.  If he wanted to be a doctor, he could (he's in my store now).  Perhaps he could be Dracula (he's in my store too), or a ghost, or a rollerblader...it didn't matter.  Whatever Parker wanted to become, he could become.

Well this Parker has fallen down.  What happens when you fall down?  Why I fall down I often cringe, sometimes cry, and always get a band-aide!  Parker is no different.  This Parker is not smiling because he's hurt.  He fell down and went to his Mom, where she kissed away his tears and put a band-aide on his boo-boo.  Poor Parker.  He may smile when you give him a new home!
