FROLICKING
We've been busy making new things for our store for the past several weeks. One of these new items was inspired by some of our favorite sites of summer, the fish pond! In this pond you will find a myriad of treasures, from the little Goldfish who has just come out of the water to say hello, to the tiny turtle wading in the water. Tadpoles, water lilies, and butterflies have also joined this pond setting.
This pond was made with over 25 different colors of clay. Most of the colors of clay were used to make custom blended "rocks," as well as 5 different colors for the pond swirls itself.
Perhaps the most interesting detail is that embedded into the translucent clay coating for the water is ultra fine glitter to give the water a cloudy, yet sparkly appearance. We've made lots of other cool things for our store, so don't forget to stop in and shop today!
