PCETeam JUNE Newsletter

I can finally say this with confidence - "Summer is finally here!"  (This is where you cheer!)  For most of us, the sun is out, the flowers are blooming, the bugs are eating us alive, and it's hot outside!

1) KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!  The team is rapidly growing, and the interaction with each other is fantastic.  I love meeting our new members and chatting with them on the forums.  If you haven't joined us in the discussions, remember that they are open to ANYONE!  Log onto our team page daily to meet new clayers and see what other team members are up to.

2) CHALLENGE YOURSELF: Our challenge topic this month is (drumroll please) a DOUBLE THEME.  This month we are challenging our members to create something either Patriotic (for YOUR country) or a picnic themed item.

3) HAPPY CLAYING: If you're not having a good time while playing/designing with clay, then why do it?

DO NOT FORGET TO CHECK THE JUNE MERCHANDISING DESK FROM ETSY.  Many of us do not pay attention to this little newsletter that Etsy puts out.  But heres the truth...your store gets high ratings, sales, and even a chance to make it to Etsy's coveted Front Page.  Don't miss out, go and read up on this month's trends.  GO THERE NOW!

JUNE NEWSLETTER

We would like to bring you up to date on some of the membership requirements and new things that are happening on our team.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:  Just as a reminder, our team has only 2 requirements: 

1) You MUST make and sell polymer clay items in your Etsy store (no supply stores only!) 

2) You MUST have no less than 3 clay items listed at all times (unless you are on vacation).

Please do NOT forget our team rules, we want everyone to be able to participate, but you must meet the Team requirement.  While we would like our team to be a vibrant and happy place to be, we are also asking that each team member go by the rules we have established as part of the do.  Your store will NOT be automatically kicked off the team.  If we find that your store no longer meets the criteria, a convo will be sent to you allowing 1 week for your response before you will be removed from the Team.  Once you have corrected your store to fit in with our requirements, you can reapply and rejoin the team and we will welcome you back with open arms!

Additional ways to interact with the Team:
Each month we will be challenging our team members in several ways. At the end of each month, the results will be posted on the team blog  and on the captain's blog. Each month will we ask (not require) each member to do the following: 

1) Put together a treasury

2) NEW - Love Your Neighbor

3) "Stretch yourself" challenge theme: Patriotic & Picnic

These are our items for this month, June:
- TREASURY: Create a treasury with any theme you choose using at least 12 PCETeam members.You MUST include the team tag "pceteam" on the treasury.    Please note, do NOT put a "space" between PCE and Team...all one word please!  You can use non-team members, but we ask that the entire treasury be polymer clay since we are promoting our art.- STRETCH YOURSELF CHALLENGE: Create an item that has something to do with "Patriotic" or "Picnic."  See the discussion on our team page for details and ideas.

- LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR CHALLENGE: You will see this on our team discussion page.  It is your opportunity to interact with other team members.  We ask that you would pick your favorite item from the store listed ABOVE you.  You can participate as often as you want in this discussion.
