Happy Birthday to Me!

WOW!  This year has come and gone very quickly!  It seems like just yesterday I celebrated my 1 year wedding anniversary with my darling husband, Luke.  And today...a new milestone.

I'm 30!

Yep, that's right...I'm 30!  It's funny how when you get older your priorities change and you don't see the world the same way as you did when you were 20.  So as I still sit some days and wonder how I became a coupon clipped, money conscious, do-it-all myself type of person...I realize in one quick instant that I've grown up.  My Dad has joked for years that as a kid he could only get the box of cereal that he wanted if he had a coupon...amazing how I've turned into my mother...and in a good way!

So as I sit and fondly recall the memories of childhood, the pains of dating, and the joy of find, courting, and marrying my soul-mate I realize very quickly that I wouldn't change anything!  Perspective is something that each of us have and though the world is the same today as it was yesterday...I still think that I haven't changed, so much as my perspective has changed.

Thank you Lord for giving me 30 blessed years of life, love, happiness, and joy.
