A Daisy Day: Poopie Paths

Mom asked me again today if I would blog for her.  So...I told her that I would, that there was something I needed to tell everyone!

This is a favorite of mine...even though it happened last week.  Here's the story of my day: Mommy, Daddy, & I woke up to 8 new inches of freshly fallen snow.  This put us at about 14" of snow on the ground.  I'm just a little girl and for me and Mommy to get to the garage, Daddy has to shovel us a path.  So, I went out with my Daddy early in the morning and jumped through big tall piles of thick snow, buried my nose, rolled on my back, and followed him as he used this big noisy thing that shoots snow (Mom calls it a snow blower).

But my Dad, he really loves me and he does something special for me.  The snow is so high in the back yard that I don't like to go in it because I sometimes get lost it's so deep.  So Daddy takes that noisy, snow shooting machine, and makes a nice big circle path for me in the back yard.  This is what Mommy calls my "Poppie Path" because I need a place to do my thing and if there's no path I can't get back to my favorite parts of the back yard.  So when it snows lots, Daddy does this one special thing for me.

After Daddy and I were outside for two hours EARLY Tuesday morning...we came back in and Mommy had made warm chicken broth and dumped it over my morning breakfast and Dad had hot cocoa and eggs....Mommy forget that I like eggs too.

By 7:30am, I was back inside for the rest of the day, helping Dad to light the fire in the living room.  Then I snuggled on my Penguin Pillow for the rest of the day.  What a great day.

I can just picture her as she goes thru her morning with her mom and dad. She is a pampered pooch, just like my Penny Lane.
