FEBRUARY
PCETEAM NEWSLETTERFebruary is here...which means there's LOVE in the air! Some of you may be wondering WHY there was no newsletter last month. We were playing with the "formatting" of the new discussion threads on the team and they are working as we had hoped. So, we're now back to promoting our talnent, love, and passion of polymer clay together!
Team Requirements:
Don't forget, everyone MUST sign up for the Team Newsletter. Each member is required to have at least 3 polymer clay items in your store at all times.
Team BNR:
The Team BNR will take place on Monday, February 20th from 8pm - 12midnight. We will have a BNR PREVIEW that will open on Monday morning. A Preview means you get to see the shops featured and buy in early. Please be sure to at least share a HEART and stop by to say "hi" when the BNR opens.
Stretch Yourself Challenge:
Our theme this month is Mardi Gras, St. Patrick's, &/or Irish. We are going with seasonal teams right now to help to drive seasonal traffic to our stores. Please be sure to list your item on the Stretch Yourself Challenge page. Click here to go there now.
New Items (PLEASE READ - VERY IMPORTANT):
We have noticed a large number of team members coming to the team simply to post your new items and run. Throughout all of Etsy, this is called spamming. As a result of this, we are changing the criteria to posting your new items.
1) IF YOU POST A NEW ITEM, YOU MUST HEART AT LEAST ONE ITEM FROM EVERY NEW LISTINGS POST IN FRONT OF YOU!!!! This gives our other team members a chance to appear in your circles and gives each other extra exposure and a boost to our views. We are a TEAM and we should act that way, even with our new listings.
2) Do NOT post and run. At minimum participate in giving each other hearts, that push your teammates items into the circles feed, giving them extra exposure.
Click here to post a new item and heart all items in front of yours.
New Members:
We hope that you all take time to meet and greet our new members. We now have a thread that is designed specifically for this purpose. Many of our new members have already posted there. Click here to go into the thread to meet and greet our new members.
Treasury Challenge:
After taking a month off from our Treasury Challenge, our treasury challenge is BACK! This month we are challenging each of you to create a treasury by the 26th of the month. The treasury with the most views by the 29th of February will be the WINNER.
The winner will receive:
1) An exclusive blog showcase on Kater's Acres Blog
2) Features on ALL Team Treasuries for next month
3) A $5.00 Gift Certificate to KatersAcres
4) Exclusive feature on the PCETeam Blog
Additional Rules:
This list is for only treasuries that have been created using at least 12 of our team members.
We ask that treasuries be ALL polymer clay! After all, we are promoting our art form.
This list is NOT for treasuries that are non-team related. Again, at least 12 slots MUST be filled with members from this team!
DO NOT FORGET TO INCLUDE THE TAG "PCETeam" IN YOUR TREASURY
Please list & link up your Treasury Challenge entry here.
Discussion Threads:
We ask that you please remember that we are asking that no one start new threads. Please post your items that fall into these categories below. If it doesn't fit into one of these categories, it belongs in the GENERAL CHAT THREAD.
FEBRUARY MERCHANDISING DESK FROM ETSY:
Many of us do not pay attention to this little newsletter that Etsy puts out. Please take time to read this most valuable information. If you follow this guide your store gets high ratings, sales, and even a chance to make it to Etsy's coveted Front Page. Don't miss out, go and read up on this month's trends. (As of this date this month's issue has not been released).
If you have any questions, please do NOT hesitate to contact me, our team captain, KatersAcres, or any of our TeamLeaders. If you would like to visit the team homepage please go here.
HAPPY CLAYING & HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
Your Team Captain,
Katie (KatersAcres)
